Are your Brisbane cricket camps beginner-friendly?
Absolutely. We welcome all kids aged 5-14, whether they’re already part of a cricket team or just want to try something new.
Coaches adapt sessions to suit each group’s ability, so every child feels challenged and supported.
Can kids attend with their friends or siblings?
Yes! If your child wants to come along with a mate or sibling, let us know in the online booking form. We’ll do our best to group them together, provided their ages and skill levels aren’t too varied.
Kids flying solo? No problem – most players leave camp with a whole new circle of friends.
What should my child bring to camp?
We provide all the cricket gear, but we ask you to pack a nut-free lunch, a refillable water bottle, and a hat and sunscreen. Kids can simply wear comfortable sportswear and runners (cricket whites optional).
We’ll take care of water refills and light snacks throughout the day.
What benefits can my child expect from the Brisbane cricket camp?
It goes without saying that kids will improve their cricket technique through batting, bowling, fielding, and wicket-keeping drills. Cricket is also great for cardiovascular endurance, speed, strength, flexibility and core stability.
Physical benefits aside, many kids gain vital life skills. They leave camp feeling happier and more self-assured, with stories (and skills) they’ll be keen to show off.
