Are the Adelaide cricket camps beginner-friendly?
Absolutely! We welcome all kids aged 5-14, from complete beginners to the cricket-obsessed. Our experienced coaches tailor each session to suit the group’s abilities – so whether your child’s learning to bowl or working on their footwork, they’ll be challenged at the right level.
What do kids need to bring each day?
All cricket gear is provided, so kids will just need to bring a packed lunch, a refillable water bottle, a hat, sunscreen, and comfortable activewear and runners. However, they are more than welcome to bring their own gear too. Cricket whites are optional.
We keep players well-fuelled with regular water breaks and light snacks throughout the session.
Can siblings or friends be in the same group?
Yes – just mention it in the online booking form and we’ll do our best to group them together, provided they’re close in age and ability.
Don’t worry if your child comes solo, though – most kids make friends quickly.
Why is a cricket camp in Adelaide a good idea?
Adelaide has a proud cricketing history, and our camps are run at a top-tier venue with access to quality equipment and open spaces. With coaches who know the South Australian scene, and occasional visits from cricketing greats, the vibe is high-energy and uniquely local.
It’s the perfect way to combine sport, sunshine, and school holiday fun.
How do kids benefit from attending a cricket camp?
Aside from developing solid cricket skills – like batting technique, accurate bowling, and fielding confidence – children walk away with stronger coordination, stamina, and teamwork skills.
Just as importantly, they build resilience, leadership, and self-belief – all while making mates and staying active in the fresh air. Our camps are all about developing well-rounded individuals who are great at sport, but equally, who walk away with super valuable life skills.
