Got any questions?

Who can attend cricket camps in Canberra?

Our cricket camps are designed for girls and boys aged 5-14 of all skill levels – whether they’re a complete beginner or the next Brad Haddin.

What does my child need to wear and bring?

If your child has cricket whites, they’re welcome to wear them! Otherwise, comfortable sportswear and running shoes are fine.

We’ll provide all the equipment, so there’s no need to bring anything except their enthusiasm!

What happens for lunch?

Please pack a nutritious lunch for your child (but keep in mind we have a strict nut-free policy). Children should also bring a water bottle, with their name on. We’ll provide snacks and refills throughout the day.

How can cricket help kids with their growth, physically and mentally?

Aside from being undeniably close to Aussie culture, cricket offers a unique way to mentally and physically engage children. Through structured drills and gameplays, kids improve coordination, balance, stamina and overall fitness – all while having heaps of fun.

Beyond the physical growth, children learn to focus under pressure, work as a team, and respond positively to wins and setbacks. At Australian Sports Camps, they’ll get non-stop encouragement from coaches and peers, to help them build their self-confidence.

We welcome a call about your child’s individual needs. Whilst our camps and programs are not generally suitable for children with significant physical or intellectual disabilities, we understand that every circumstance is different. Our Chief of Staff and Coaching Directors are often school teachers or local head coaches who have the necessary training, but in general, we’re not able to provide the one-to-one care that some children with disabilities may need.
