  • On-field technical skill development: Clear growth in everything from dribbling to passing and receiving, tackling, and taking penalty corners.

Will other kids be new to hockey camp?

Usually, yes. Our camps are open to all abilities, including children who have never visited a sports camp (or even picked up a hockey stick).

As long as they’re between the ages of 5-14, based in Perth, and keen to get active, they’re welcome to join us!

How often do Perth hockey camps run?

Our camps run on various dates throughout the school holidays. So, you can usually find a camp to suit your schedule.

Does my child need to bring their own equipment?

We’ve got all the gear, such as hockey sticks and balls, sorted. Children should bring comfortable sportswear and appropriate footwear. Ideally, they should also bring a mouth guard and shin guards.

Please also pack a nut-free lunch and a water bottle for your child. We’ll provide snacks and water refills throughout the day.

How many children are allocated to each group?

Each hockey camp typically welcomes around 50 participants. However, we group players into smaller groups of around 10 (setting a cap at 14 kids per group). This means our coaches can figure out the strengths and weaknesses of each player, and provide recommendations to help them get better and better.

Why should I send my child to ASC hockey camp?

ASC hockey holiday camps offer more than just skill development. We’re committed to fast-paced, fun-filled experiences where kids can grow as players and people. Each day combines technical training, fitness, and matches, so kids can put their learnings into action. They’ll build coordination, confidence, and game sense.

Off the field, hockey helps develop resilience, teamwork, and leadership. Through healthy competition and guided coaching, players overcome challenges and connect with their team in a supportive, high-energy environment.
