Such a great netball camp!

My daughter attended in Jan 2024 and absolutely loved it...all of it...the coaches, learning new skills, meeting other kids. Each day she couldn't wait to show me the techniques she learnt. She will definitely be back in the future.

SA Basketball Camp

My 13yo son attended the SA Basketball camp at Marion. The ASC team were professional and brilliant with the kids & the coaches had great technical & comms skills. He was jumping out of bed every morning to get there. He made some great friends and will be back in Jan!

Got any questions?

Yes, grouping can be arranged to suit age, ability, and friends. When booking on-line, just let us know their names in the 'friends attending' section. And, don’t worry if there are no friends attending — new friends will be made at camp!

Similarly, you can request for siblings to be grouped together, as long as the difference in age and ability is not too great.

Parents are welcome to stay and watch. However, there is no need to stay as all children will be supervised by camp staff for the duration of the program.

Yes, all required ASC staff have a current Working with Children Check.

Yes, we provide great coaching for all ability levels — So, we can correctly group your child as a beginner, moderate, or advanced player, simply make the appropriate selection during the online booking process. There's also a booking notes section to include further details regarding your child's playing experience.

Our camps and programs are not generally suitable for children with significant physical or intellectual disabilities. Although our Chief of Staff and Coaching Director’s are traditionally school teachers or local head coaches who have the neccesary training, we’re not able to provide the one-to-one care that some children with disabilities may need. Nevertheless, we understand that every circumstance is different and we welcome a call about your child’s individual needs.

We welcome participants from all backgrounds and parts of the world. We value diversity and do not tolerate any discriminatory practices.

We also seek appropriate staff from diverse cultural backgrounds.

A camp will never be cancelled due to extreme weather. Drop off and pick up times will remain unchanged.

However, during episodes of extreme weather, we modify the program to make the best appropriate use of the venue’s facilities (undercover or indoor areas). This could involve talks from guest stars, coaches, modified intensity sessions and other games and activities.

Parkour Programs

Parkour is a fast-growing sport in Australia, and was recently listed under the International Federation of Gymnastics.

Chaotic in all the best ways, parkour (also known as freerunning) is about moving efficiently through obstacles. It blends running, jumping, vaulting, climbing and balancing – and is more about self-improvement than competition.

We run parkour programs across Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle & Melbourne  for kids. With experienced coaches and a supervised environment, children can explore this exciting sport safely. Suitable for kids aged 6-14. No experience needed.

Why do kids love parkour?

Our kids' parkour camps offer benefits that go beyond cool jumps and obstacle courses. Participants will:

  • Build strength, balance and coordination
  • Improve agility, speed, and body awareness
  • Be an early adopter of parkour
  • Develop resilience and confidence through challenges
  • Learn to assess risk and move safely
  • Make new friends in a supportive space
  • Stay active in a fun, screen-free way

Hosted at excellent parkour facilities in Australia

Kids’ parkour takes place at dedicated parkour safe locations across Australia  . It’s packed with fun, challenging obstacles where kids can go on their own adventure and make new friends.

Movement skills that last

Children learn to run, jump, vault, climb, balance, roll and land safely – mastering techniques that carry into other sports.

Parkour program FAQs

What shoes should kids wear for parkour?

Children won’t need any specialised shoes, but light, flexible and grippy runners are the best option. Avoid heavy or slippery shoes.

Is this parkour camp suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. Our parkour programs are designed for all skill levels, including kids who’ve never tried parkour before. Coaches break down movements step-by-step, and are always close by to answer questions or offer support.

We group children by age and ability, so everyone feels comfortable as they take on this exciting sport.

What’s involved in the parkour program?

Children start with some dynamic warm-ups and unstructured play. This is followed by coaching to help them conquer obstacles and learn parkour skills in a safe, padded environment.

Morning tea is provided, and lunch is available to purchase (otherwise, you’re welcome to pack a labelled lunch for your child).

After lunch, children get to create their very own obstacle course, and we’ll get stuck into some movement-based games that keep energy levels high.
