Can beginners join the tennis holiday camps?
Absolutely! Boys and girls of every ability level are welcome. Groups are structured to make sure everyone has fun and feels challenged – without the pressure!
What equipment and clothing should my child bring?
We supply all tennis equipment. Participants simply need to wear comfortable sports clothing, flat court shoes or runners, a hat, and sunscreen. However, you’re always welcome to bring your favourite racket.
Please pack a nut-free lunch and a refillable water bottle. We’ll provide refills and snacks.
How large are the groups, and who will coach?
Groups average 6 children with a maximum of 8 per coach, to ensure personalised attention. Coaching is led by experienced mentors and overseen by coaching directors to maintain quality and safety. Many of our coaches are teachers or ex-teachers.
What benefits will my child gain from tennis camp?
Tennis develops cardiovascular fitness, agility, coordination and balance, while reinforcing mental toughness, strategic thinking, and discipline. On a wider note, tennis is also known to promote self-confidence, focus under pressure, and long-term cognitive health.
Are social connections part of the tennis holiday camp experience?
Definitely! Our tennis camps involve drills, matches and challenges to build connection, communication, and sportsmanship. On the whole, sports help to reduce anxiety, boost self-esteem, and support social development in children.
While you can request for your child to be grouped with friends or siblings (just use the ‘Friends Attending’ section during sign-up), it’s also totally fine for your child to come solo. They’ll meet like-minded kids who could become friends for life!
