Create lifelong memories at our cricket holiday camps
Getting active in the outdoors beats screen time during the school holidays. Each cricket camp across Melbourne offers a fun way to prioritise healthy routines, while giving children a chance to grow their cricket skills and have heaps of fun.
Parents choose ASC camps because of the physical and emotional benefits children can carry into their futures. From boosting teamwork, confidence and leadership skills, to keeping them goal-motivated, we’re big on delivering the support and high energy that helps them learn and grow.
Why do kids return to our Melbourne cricket camps, year after year?
At Australian Sports Camps, we’ve been running camps for children for over 40 years. Child safety and progress are our top priorities; admin staff, first-aiders and qualified coaching directors are on-site at all times.
- Suitable for all levels: Cricket camps for kids who want to be the next Shane Warne or Mitchell Johnson, and those who just want to have fun over the school holidays.
- Small group sizes: We put together small coaching groups based on age, ability and friendships, so each child gets the personalised care they need.
- Sense of achievement: Seeing real progress after three days fosters a sense of achievement, building confidence and willingness to attack the next challenge.
- Personalised feedback: Each little cricketer receives a personalised written assessment report, signed camp certificate, and group photo.
- Stay fit: Kids can spend the school holidays working on their cricket skills and fitness levels, with focused drills and skills sessions.
- Boost social skills: A way for children to mix with others who love the sport, build their teamwork skills, and make friends for life.

What can be developed from a cricket camp?
The sport of cricket is a game-changer for developing hand-eye coordination, agility and concentration. Beyond physical skills, kids can learn focus, patience, teamwork and strategic thinking at our cricket holiday camps. It’s all about communication and sportsmanship – valuable skills they’ll carry well beyond the game.
What should I bring to the cricket camp?
We’ve got the gear sorted. Just make sure your child arrives in comfortable activewear and footwear (cricket whites are not required, but can be brought along). Please pack a lunch (noting we are a nut-free camp) and a refillable water bottle. Our team provides water and healthy snacks throughout the day.
A hat and sunscreen are also recommended for outdoor sessions.
