The benefits of table tennis for kids
Table tennis is more than just a fun indoor game. It builds a wide range of (often unexpected) skills that benefit children way beyond the court:
- Coordination development: Quick rallies train hand-eye coordination and improve reaction time.
- Decision-making: Each shot involves strategy and split-second thinking to boost focus.
- Confidence & resilience: Children gain self-belief through learning new skills and friendly competition.
- Social connections: From team rallies to cheering each other on from the sidelines, collaboration is huge here.
- Stay active & healthy: An indoor, low-impact sport that promotes fitness. Kids who aren’t traditionally “sporty” are more than welcome to join us.

Table tennis for kids is always a good idea. Our table tennis holiday program keeps them active and engaged during the school holidays – whether they’re keen to pick up a new hobby or are already comfortable with a paddle in hand.
Kids return to our table tennis camps year after year. As an indoor activity, the fun isn’t dependent on the weather.
