Pickleball skills and memory-making
Our pickleball holiday camps help set children up for success – in life as well as sport. It’s all about helping them stay active, connected, and motivated during the school break.
Whether your child is brand new to pickleball or looking to fine-tune their game, they’ll be surrounded by enthusiastic coaches and teammates who’ll cheer them on at every step.
From learning new racquet skills to crushing leadership roles, every pickleball camp gives young players a structured but fun space to thrive. By the end of day three, children are playing faster, smarter, and with much more belief in themselves.

More than pickleball coaching
We’ve been running popular school holiday sports programs since 1982, and pickleball is one of our most-loved. Helping kids love sport and stay active has always been our main aim.
- Safe environments: Every pickleball camp has qualified first aiders, a dedicated coaching director, and experienced mentors.
- Skills beyond sport: Kids learn how to lead, bounce back from setbacks, and support one another. These lessons go far beyond the field.
- Small group sizes: With a typical group size of 7-to a maximum of 14, our coaches can adapt sessions to each child’s level and learning style.
- Technical growth: Expect noticeable improvements in core skills like forehand, backhand, serving, and match tactics.
- Confidence-booster: There’s nothing like three days of teamwork, encouragement, and a few well-earned goals to send kids home proud and energised.

Is this pickleball camp suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! Many of our players are new to pickleball (or sports camps in general). Players join us with a range of ability levels, from those who have never held a racquet to kids who already play for a team. Groups are structured by age and skill level, so we can tailor sessions to suit every participant.
What does my child need to bring to camp?
We provide pickleball gear (racquets, balls, cones, bibs, etc.). Please send your child in comfortable activewear, suitable footwear, and their own racquet, if they have them. A nut-free lunch and labelled water bottle are essential – we’ll provide refills and snacks.
How do you make sure coaching fits my child’s level?
At ASC, players are grouped by age, experience and any friendship requests made during registration. Each group averages 10 kids, and we never exceed 14 per coach. This structure allows for individual attention, with coaches adjusting the pace and focus to suit each player’s skill and confidence level.
Will there be any special guests?
We often invite elite athletes and former pro players to our Melbourne pickleball camps. These guest coaches bring amazing energy, share stories from their sporting careers, and run exciting on-field sessions. Though, due to player schedules, we can’t guarantee a special guest at every camp, it’s often a real highlight for kids.
What makes ASC pickleball camps different?
More than just drills and matchplay, our camps focus on helping kids develop holistically. Beyond building strength, speed, and stick skills, they’ll gain confidence, learn to problem-solve, and develop leadership and teamwork
We aim for a fun, structured environment that encourages personal growth – all while making friends and loving the game.
