Stacia Joseph is a talented player capable of being either a defender of midfielder, having represented Australia 42 times. Â She has been battling injury since her debut in 2009, which ruled her out of both the World Cup and Commonwealth Games.
Stacia was a runner-up at the 2009 Champions Trophy where Australia were beaten on home soil via a penalty shootout. Â After strong performances at various Hockeyroos training camps she secured her spot in the Oceania Cup team. Â She was also a part of the 2012 Australian Women’s Hockey Olympic Squad in London.
Stacia Captained the Victorian Vipers from 2011 to 2015, securing a gold medal at the 2012 Australian Hockey League tournament and a bronze medal finish in 2015. Â In 2014, she was named MVP of the Victorian Premier League. Â In 2016, it was announced that she was taking on the interim role of VIS Women’s Hockey Program Head Coach.
She is also equipped with a Physical Education Teaching degree. Â Stacia has directed the coaching at ASC Hockey Camps in the past.
