Karyn Bailey began her career with the Northern Territory State Netball team. At the age of 15 she earned a scholarship at the Northern Territory Institute of Sport. Since then, she has played in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy in 2005, 2006 and 2007, for the Queensland Firebirds, AIS Canberra Darters and the Hunter Jaegers.
She played for the Victorian Fury in 2009-2011, and was part of premiership teams in 2009 and 2010.
She is a decorated shooter who was the Australian National League MVP in 2011 and a member of the Australian FAST 5 team in 2012. She played an instrumental part in the Melbourne Vixen’s Premiership win in 2014. In 2015, she was included for the fourth time in the Diamonds Squad.
