BRAD HODGE
Brad Hodge is one of the finest domestic batsmen ever to feature in Australian Cricket. With over 20 years of playing experience, he is Victoria's alltime highest runscorer in Sheffield Shield cricket (10,474) and holds the Australian record for most runs (5,597) and most centuries (20) in domestic one-day cricket. Although given limited opportunity, Hodge did feature in 6 tests and 25 ODI, with a top score of 203* v South Africa in test cricket and 123* v Holland in the World Cup in ODI. He has scored over 18,000 runs in First Class cricket and over 9,000 List A runs. In January 2012, Hodge announced his retirement from one-day Cricket and from Victoria. That same year, he played a local 20/20 for Mill Park Cricket club, winning against Bundoora Park. Hodge played for Australia in the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 Competition. He also played for Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League in 2016 and was set to play in the PSL again, this time with the Quetta Gladiators, in 2017 but withdrew due to family circumstances. In 2014, he was recruited as captain of the Adelaide strikers, making the move from Melbourne. He captained Adelaide until 2017. Brad has passed on his knowledge to our cricket camp participants at our programs for a number of years now.
