Ben Allan was the inaugural captain of the Fremantle Dockers Football Club. Prior to captaining the Dockers, Ben had a stand-out career with Hawthorn as a skilful winger, where he won the best and fairest in 1991 and also played in a premiership, before returning home to Western Australia to captain the new Fremantle side. Ben played 145 games with an average of 20.1 disposals per game as a valued midfielder to both clubs. For many years Ben has directed the coaching at our ASC WA AFL camps passing on his coaching perspectives to the next generation of footballers.
