Harry Taylor is one of the premier defenders in the AFL and is already a two time premiership player with Geelong in 2009 and 2011. In 2017, Geelong made the decision to convert him to a key forward player.
A true success story of persistence and application, Harry played 49 games in the WAFL before he was selected at pick 17 in the 2007 AFL Draft as a 21 year old. He never looked back, was selected as Geelong’s Best First-Year player in 2008 and cemented himself in the defence of one of the modern era’s great teams. He gained All-Australian selection in 2010 and 2013. In 2015, he was a Jim Stynes medallist, and was selected to play in the Australian international rules football team in 2014 and 2015.
Harry attended a WA Australian Sports Camps Football Program as a junior and has attended as a guest coach to our programs on several occasions.
