- Game strategy & course awareness
Kids learn club selection, shot planning, rules and etiquette, so they can build the confidence to play independently.
Experienced golf mentors (more often than not, golfl pro’s!) provide support and guidance in small-group sessions.
Our golf camps are hosted at well-maintained courses, giving children a real feel for the game.
Golf camp FAQs
How can a golf training program help your child?
Golf is a fantastic sport for kids. Experts at the National Development Program at the US Golf Association say golf teaches important life lessons in addition to the physical benefits. Since the game is built on rules, etiquette and respect, it helps establish these values in children.
Whatever age your child takes up golf, it’s a fun way for them to stay active. It helps to build flexibility, strength, coordination and balance, as well as hone fine motor skills. This key set of skills transfers well to almost every other sport and activity. Plus, golf is the perfect break from daily stress and screens – offering some time to recharge and have fun.
What’s covered under the ASC golf program?
Our golf camps for kids cover the development of foundational skills, as well as course etiquette. With small groups tailored to age and ability, our mentors give each child the support they need to develop in their game – helping them grow as both players and people.
Does my child need to bring their own equipment?
We provide clubs, balls, and training equipment. If your child has their own clubs, they’re welcome to bring them along. Please pack comfortable sportswear, enclosed shoes, a hat, sunscreen, a water bottle, and a nut-free lunch. Our team will provide healthy snacks and water refills throughout the day.
