Rory Sloane is a tough midfielder who is has come to the fore as one of the AFL’s elite players. He debuted with Adelaide in Round 20, 1009 against Hawthorn. A well-liked and respected player by the media, Sloane has developed into the key figure in the Adelaide Crows midfield, polling second in the Brownlow in 2016 and gaining All-Australian selection.
Rory won the Malcolm Blight Medal for Adelaide Best and Fairest in 2013 and 2016, and was named as acting co-captain with Patrick Dangerfield in 2014 after skipper Nathan Van Berlo went down with injury in the pre-season. He is a hard-tackling, functional midfielder who enjoys playing hard, tough football. We enjoyed having him along at our Adelaide programs along with fellow star Daniel Talia.
