Former Sydney Swans footballer Ben Matthews is a regular contributor to the Australian Sports Camps NSW camps. Making his debut in 1997, Ben was a constant contributor to the Swans for almost 15 years, and was part of the drought-breaking 2005 AFL premiership win over the West Coast Eagles.
Also in 2005, Ben was honoured as a life member of the Sydney Swans having played 150 games for the club. Ben was a best and fairest winner at the club, a rising star nominee, and has captained the Swans.
Since 2013, Ben has served as a midfield coach of the Melbourne Football Club.
