Melbourne Tigers Junior Basketball Club

These sessions are held at the Oakleigh Recreation Centre on Sunday afternoons. From July to September each year. Plus sessions runs from 12pm to 2pm. Furthermore, Melbourne Tigers Juniors caters for the more athletic kids who have a competitive nature. Collingwood All Stars Basketball Club
Collingwood Basketball Association is a not-for-profit community based basketball club. Which, offers young and older players, in inner city Melbourne, the opportunity to participate in a variety of competitions and programs. Also, this great for kids basketball club provides the opportunity to learn and develop basketball skills in beginner programs. Which, are run on Tuesdays and Saturdays:- Little Stars is an introductory play and learn basketball program for 3 and 4 year olds.
- All Star Hoops is a beginner program for prep to grade 3’s. To learn basketball skills and have fun.
- Mini Ball is a program for grade 3 to 6’s. To develop their basketball skills and play non-competitive games. Part of the session concentrates on fundamental skills development. And, the remainder of the session is a non-competitive game.
- Aussie Hoops is an entry level program for 5 to 8 year olds. With the objective of learning basketball skills and having fun.

Timberwolves Basketball Club
Another one of the best kids basketball clubs to join is Timberwolves. Timberwolves are a domestic basketball club affiliated with the Waverley Basketball Association (Waverley Falcons). Plus, their membership is open to all junior players, both boys and girls, interested in playing basketball. Also, they have teams that cater for all skill levels - novice beginners through to highly skilled 'A-Grade' players. Moreover, the club aims to provide opportunities for players of all abilities. Knox All Stars Basketball Club
Knox All Stars is a local, community-based basketball club. They offering basketball to the kids of Rowville, Lysterfield and Ferntree Gully. Plus, their aim is to provide players with an activity that is healthy, energetic, but most of all FUN. The All Stars Basketball Club (Knox) Incorporated, is based in the South East of Melbourne, City of Knox. In terms of kids basketball, they catering for junior players in age groups from Under 8 upwards. For older players, up to Under 23 years. Moreover, the club competes as part of the Knox Junior Domestic Basketball Competition. This is during both the Winter (May to November) and Summer (November to May) seasons. Plus, the club currently boasts a healthy 50 to 60 teams entered into each season’s competition. In addition, teams span the full spectrum of age groups and grading levels. Entering 105 teams in the Keilor Basketball Association's junior domestic competition. Moreover, their aim is to foster the development of basketball skills (particularly junior domestic basketball). Offering, an environment in which children and adults have fun while participating. Furthermore, they run a 'Junior Jets' program. Firstly, 'Junior Jets' focuses on individual development. And secondly, on being part of a competitive team sport. In addition, 'Junior Jets' strongly supports the direct participation of parents. In fact, all parents are welcome to attend and join their sessions. Also, Junior Jets builds on the principles and skills needed to prepare players for game situations. When they are old enough to start playing.
