ASC would like to announce our newest guest stars for 2014! Darren Glass is the current captain of the AFL club of West Coast Eagles. Since being recruited in 2000, he has been selected as an All-Australian in 2006, 2007, 2011 & again in 2012 as the captain. Darren was also a part of the premiership playing team in 2006. We’re excited for Darren to be joining our ASC team and attending the Western Australia AFL Winter camp, 2014. Former Australian soccer player, Shaun Murphy is our newest Soccer Legend to be joining the ASC team! He will be attending the Western Australia Soccer Camp for winter, 2014. Murphy played in 4 different English clubs including Sheffield United and Crystal Palace! Shaun also returned to Australian Soccer and captained Perth Glory in 2003-2004. He also represented Australia through being part of the Socceroo’s side! In which he played 18 games and scored 3 goals in 2000-2001. Current Australian professional Rugby League footballer Chris Heighington from the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks will be the attending star at the New South Wales Rugby League winter camp. Having begun playing at his junior club of Umina Bunnies, Chris has spent his sporting career being an England International representative! As well as representing country New South Wales within Australia. Chris played with the West Tigers where he was a 2005 NRL Premiership player and winner! Before playing for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks later in his career.
