Australian Sports Camps is ecstatic to welcome back the Kevin Sheedy Football Camp this July 6, 7 and 8! to celebrate Kevin’s return to Melbourne. Sheedy played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Greater Western Sydney Giants as inaugural coach! And later as ambassador Kevin has returned to Melbourne to relink up with his beloved Essendon Bombers in a commercial and ambassadorial context.

This development proudly allows us to schedule the Kevin Sheedy Football Camp at Brens Oval, Royal Park, Parkville. The program has a fantastic history over the years starting back in 1983! And we are excited to be once again working with Kevin in Melbourne! After he was able to help develop our participants in Sydney!

Kevin has few peers in terms of his effect on the game of Australian Football. Success has followed him throughout his career, firstly as a three-time premiership player in his 251 games with Richmond. Coaching soon followed where his alternative coaching methods produced regular success with four premierships across three generations of players including arguably the finest AFL/VFL side of all time in 2000.

Kevin is an inspirational figure whose experience at the highest level of Australian Rules Football is invaluable for the next budding generation of footballers.
