Moises Henriques

Moises Henriques is a fast-medium bowler and middle order batsman who currently plays for the New South Wales Blues, Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Sydney Sixers.

At just age 16, he was selected for the Australian team for the 2004 U-19 Cricket World Cup in Bangladesh.  Alongside Greg Thomas, he is the joint leading wicket taker in the history of U-19 with 27 scalps.

Moises has taken 70 first class wickets, at an average of 27.2, as well as accumulating more than 1600 runs at 31.6.  Henriques is former captain of Australia’s Under-19 side, where he took the team to the semi-finals of the 2006 World Cup.  A testament to his leadership, Moises produced on the big stage, finishing as the leading wicket taker of the tournament, with 16 breakthroughs, as well as a batting average of 37.5.

Moises is known as a genuine all-rounder, who has brought his expertise in both batting and bowling to the NSW Cricket Camps.
