Moises Henriques is a fast-medium bowler and middle order batsman who currently plays for the New South Wales Blues and the Sydney Sixers. At just 25, the all-rounder is widely recognised to have one of the brightest futures in Australian cricket.
Moises has taken 70 first class wickets, at an average of 27.2, as well as accumulating more than 1600 runs at 31.6. Henriques is former captain of Australia’s Under-19 side, where he took the team to the semi-finals of the 2006 World Cup. A testament to his leadership, Moises produced on the big stage, finishing as the leading wicket taker of the tournament, with 16 breakthroughs, as well as a batting average of 37.5.
Moises will bring his expertise in both batting and bowling to the NSW Cricket Camp over the 2012/2013 Summer.
