These holidays, Australian Sports Camps will once again run their Brighton Kids
AFL camp at Brighton Grammar School. Moreover, these camps run four times a year. And are suited for kids aged 6 – 16, of all skill levels.
In addition, we employ coaches with a minimum Level 1 Coaching qualification and ensure a 1:10 coach to child ratio. So, that your child receives the individual attention required to maximise their skill development. Plus, our coaching panels are joined by talented guest stars: elite athletes that work with the kid. Also, passing on their knowledge gained at the highest level of the game. Brighton Grammar School
Date: The AFL camp at Brighton Grammar School runs every school holidays for 3 days. Time: 9am — 3pm each day. We recommend arriving 10 — 30 minutes early on the first day to allow enough time to check in, and 10 minutes early on the other days. On the final day of the camp, we will conclude with a short 10 — 15 minute presentation commencing at 3pm. We invite all parents to attend. Location: Brighton Grammar School, 90 Outer Crescent, Brighton, VIC 3186. RRP: $295 (although early bird and group offers are available). The Venue — Brighton Grammar School
Brighton Grammar School is located in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs, only 7 km from the CBD and 500m from Port Phillip Bay. The campus sprawls over 10.2 hectares, and boasts impressive sporting facilities, including: - 1 indoor basketball court
- 4 outdoor courts (tennis/basketball)
- Extensive playing ovals
- FIFA-standard artificially surfaced soccer pitch
Enrolment will be at the gymnasium, next to the outdoor tennis courts. The entrance is off New Street, between Grosvenor Street and Cadby Street.
What to Bring

Comfortable AFL wear — Children should wear something they feel comfortable playing and training in. In case of wet weather, a change of clothes should be packed also. Rubber soled shoes should be worn, and children should bring a hat and sunscreen, as well as a towel.

Mouthguard — If available, but not compulsory.

Drink bottle-Drinks are provided daily and water is available to all kids.

Lunch —Please bring a packed lunch in a clearly labelled lunch box, but keep in mind ASC has a strict nut free policy.
ASC also provides fruit and drinks throughout each of the days. One thing parents might want to keep in mind is making sure their child’s lunch, clothes and all their belongings are clearly labelled with their name. Also, we recommend avoiding bringing items that you wouldn’t want to get dirty, damaged or lost. And, these items include valuables, electronics and jewellery. Furthermore, spending money is not required at a Brighton Kids AFL camp. Also, children should avoid lollies and chewing gum. Camp Itinerary- How it Works
Over 3 days we provide your children with 18 hours of sports coaching between the hours of 9am to 3pm. Each day has its own structure and has been designed to cover all areas of AFL. Including, the important foundation skills required for kids to start mastering and improving their game. More importantly, it’s been designed to maximise enjoyment and ensure that kids are having fun for the entire 3 – day camp. In addition, our specialised skill development training, gives kids players a taste of different playing positions. Allowing them to develop skills across all areas.
