ASC are excited to announce that the following guest coaches will be attending selected camps across Australia during the spring school holidays:

Adelaide

Angelo Costanzo, a current Adelaide Cobras soccer star will be the coaching director for the soccer program in SA. Costanzo had proven himself at a young age in the Australian National League, becoming the SA player of the year at the age of 18. He then joined the A-league at Adelaide United in 2005 and was a crucial member of the 2005-2006 premiership winning side. Chris Harms, a former SA shield player will be the Cricket Coaching Director in SA. Kate Shimmin, a current Adelaide Thunderbirds player will be attending the SA netball camp. Without a doubt, Kate played a key role in Australia’s victory in the 21/U International Netball Series and was named the Southern Force’s Most Valuable Player in the team’s Australian Netball League premiership.

Brisbane

Chris Hartley, the QLD Bulls keeper will be attending the QLD Cricket Camp as guest coach. Hartley was announced Sheffield Shield player of the 2009-10 season and has undoubtedly proved to be a very valuable player to the Bulls.

Sydney

Bruce Bolden is an NBL legend who played at Boise State before embarking on a 17-year professional career. Bruce will be attending the NSW Basketball camp. Kate Hollywood is a former Hockeyroo, Olympian and Commonwealth Gold Medallist. Kate will be a guest coach at the NSW hockey camp. Sonia Mkoloma is an English national netball player and competed in 3 netball world championships. Sonia will be a guest star at the NSW netball camp. Doug Walters, a former Australian Cricketer, an attacking batsman and a cricket legend. Doug will be attending selected NSW cricket camps.

Melbourne

Lucas Walker is an Australian professional basketball player who currently plays for Melbourne. We are excited that Lucas will be attending both basketball camps in VIC. Roddy Vargas is a former Melbourne Victory player and represented Australia in 2009. Roddy will be attending both the Kew and Bulleen Soccer camps in VIC. Glen Popovsky has 19 years coaching experience at various clubs in Perth, and has coached in the USA. Glen will be the Head Coach and Director at the WA Tennis camp.
