Congratulations to past Australian Sports Camps guests Chris Heighington (Cronulla-Sutherland), Fletcher Roberts and Josh Dunkley (Western Bulldogs)! Who over the weekend achieved the pinnacle of their sports, collecting NRL and AFL Grand Final winners medals respectively. Chris was part of Cronulla-Sutherland’s first Premiership in their 53 year history with the 14-12 victory over the Melbourne Storm. Conversely, Fletcher and Josh were part of the Western Bulldogs second premiership in their history back to 1925! Ending a premiership drought since 1954 with their gutsy triumph over the Sydney Swans 13.11.89 to 10.7.67. The Bulldogs created history as they became the first club to win the flag from 7th position, eclipsing the previous mark set by the Adelaide Crows who came from 5th to win in 1998.
