Zac Merrett is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League. He is the current club vice captain and was drafted by Essendon with Pick 26 in the 2013 National Draft.

Zach is one of the elite AFL players in the competition. At the age of 25 Zach has played over 150 games and has won two Best and Fairest’s, made 3 Under 22 teams and won an All Australian jumper in 2017. Zach was also in 2016 the youngest bomber captain to take the field, in a game the Bombers won by 6pts.
