Joel Garner has certainly been one of the most imposing personalities to play the game of cricket.  The West Indian Garner, or ‘Big Bird’ as he is affably known, was an imposing figure when coming into bowl at the height of 6 foot 8 inches sending down many a dangerous short ball.

Garner played 241 first class international matches and snared 881 wickets, with his best figures being 8/31.

Garner has been a valuable coach to many Australian Sports Camps attendees in the past.
