Netball: Sharni Layton has an impressive career history including a Trans-Tasman Netball League Premiership, a gold medal at the World Netball Championships in Singapore in 2011 and winning the 2011 Holden Test Series to regain World Number 1 ranking with the Australian Diamonds. Some of Sharni’s notable achievements include being named the World Youth Cup Championship player, being picked in the 2010 Australian Squad and winning the MARZ Red Best Young Player Award after the ANZ Championships in 2010.
Hockey: Kate Hollywood is a hockey midfielder/defender who has represented the national team over 150 times. She is a dual Commonwealth Games Gold medalist (2006, 2010) and represented Australia at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Kate is known for her speed, vision, and accuracy in passing and has spent time playing in the AHL as well as professionaly in The Netherlands for Rotterdam and in New Zealand. We can’t wait to have her at our camp!
Rugby Union: Matt Lucas is an exciting young prospect for the New South Wales Waratahs. Playing at scrumhalf and debuting in 2013 Matt is the younger brother of Queensland’s Reds Dynamic scrumhalf Ben Lucas. With enormous talent and potential the 20-year old has impressed many with his performances within the Australian Rugby Union’s National Academy and with the Australian Sevens Squad. Matt’s youths makes him easily relatable to all the children at our camps and makes him one of the best coaches we have.
AFL: Nick Davis is a former professional Australian rules footballer who had a very successful career with both Collingwood Football Club and the Sydney Swans. In 2012 Davis became a runner for the Sydney Swans and helps out as a marking and kicking coach for the Cronulla Sharks. He is a fantastic role model, with a wealth of experience to pass onto our footy players of the future!
