Which means Australian Sports Camps have wrapped up another successful schedule of camps to lead us into 2016. Many thanks to our panel of coaches, dedicated staff and supportive guest stars for making the summer programs a great experience for all! Our participants showed a huge amount of enthusiasm to improve their game and we look forward to continuing our commitment to ASC camp programs throughout the year.

Justin Langer Cricket Camp

Our hugely popular Justin Langer Cricket Camp returned for the 21st year this summer in Wembley Downs, Western Australia! Over 250 participants gained invaluable tips and inspiration from Langer along with other Perth Scorchers cricket players. A huge thank you to JL for finding time in his busy schedule to support ASC for another summer! Which allowed us to offer a fantastic program for young cricket enthusiasts. In other states, we had guest star appearances from Dean Jones, Rodney Hogg, Michael Beer, Ray Bright, Grant Weir, Rob Quiney, Doug Walters, Kurtis Patterson, Geoff Lawson, Danny Morrison, Jon Holland & Tom Cooper.

Netball

Coming off a great netball season, we we’re fortunate enough to have Australian Diamond squad members and players along to our camps! Without a doubt, all across Australia they brought their knowledge of playing at the highest level of netball to participants! Caitlin Bassett joined the netballers at our camps in WA, Gretel Tippett and Kim Ravaillion in QLD, Khao Watts in SA and former Diamond Bianca Chatfield along with current Melbourne Vixen players Jo Weston, Liz Watson & Kate Maloney in VIC.In Sydney players attending included Amy Somerville and Abbey McCulloch from the Swifts.

What Else Did We Have?!

Soccer enthusiasts gained invaluable tips from Rodrigo Vargas, Dave Williams, Stan Lazaridis, Bruce Djite and Jack Hingert around Australia. Furthermore, Basketball fanatics rubbed shoulders with Andre Moore, Lucas Walker and Iggy Hadziomerovic! Our football troops in VIC and WA enjoyed the company of Dustin Fletcher and Tendai Mzungu. Australian Sports Camps staff members, coaches and guest stars are passionate about supporting players of all ages and abilities to take their game to the next level and aim to better our programs each season.
