Shaun Murphy  is a former Australian soccer player. Throughout his club career he played with Notts County (1992–1997), West Bromwich Albion (1997–1999), Sheffield United (1999–2003) and Crystal Palace (2001–2002) in England, before returning to Australia for one season to captain Perth Glory (2003–2004).

In 1992, Murphy represented Australia at the 1992 Summer Olympics. He was a member of the Australian national team from 2000-2001, in which he played 18 games and scored 3 goals.
