ASC TALENT PROFILES

Harry Taylor is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Geelong Football Club in the AFL. Taylor was considered a surprise selection at pick 17 in the 2007 draft because of his age. He made his debut in the 2008 NAB cup against Melbourne. Over his career he played a total of 280 games, kicking 75 goals.

His career highlights include winning two AFL Premierships in 2009 and 2011. He was also named as part of the “All-Australian Team” in 2010 and 2013.

Harry Taylor retired from the AFL after Geelong’s loss to Richmond in the 2020 AFL Grand Final, alongside fellow Geelong veteran Gary Ablett Jnr.
