ASC TALENT PROFILES

 

David Williams is an Australian footballer who currently plays as a striker for ATK Mohun Bagan, in the Indian Super League. Williams began his professional career signing for Brisbane Roar as a 17 year old, after trialling with Belgian giant Club Brugge and world famous club Liverpool FC.

Williams, a striker and winger, spent three years from the ages of 18-21 for prominent Danish team Brondby IF, playing 34 times before returning to the Australian A-League with North QLD Fury and Sydney FC. He then played for Melbourne City from 2011 until the end of the 2016 season, before signing on with Hungarian team Haladás. He played with Haladás for 2 years before playing with Wellington Phoenix from 2018-2019 and ATK from 2019-2020. 

In 2008, he made his Socceroo debut for the Australian national team, appearing in a World Cup qualifier versus China.  

Williams has joined us at our Victorian Soccer camps inspiring the participants to develop their abilities.
